Toaster ovens are very popular small appliances among college students who live in small apartments or dormitories. They work great for making warm sandwiches, for baking frozen dinners and pizzas in and for simple re-heating. They do not take up much space and are very cheap to operate.

If you are a person who likes to make your own mixed drinks, then you will probably want to have a blender in your kitchen. A blender makes a perfect smoothie as it can chop and puree chunks of fruit. Blenders are also great ice crushers too, which is a great feature in the warm summer months.
