Kang Rohman, Sunday, January 17, 2010Success in your Home Business! How do you succeed?
Kang Rohman,Many people do not realize that all they need to do is choose. You can make one choice to make your life much better, or you can choose to stay where you are and live that leeds nowhere. It is really unfortunate that the majority of us are taught to work a regular job, 40 or more hours a week. Living this lifestyle can be stressful by just "getting by" with no money left over at the end of the month. But it does not have to be that way, and one way out of the rat race is to start a home based business.
What You Should Know About Failure And Success In Affiliate Programs
Kang Rohman, Wednesday, November 18, 2009Who would have thought that revenue sharing would be so lucrative? Two decades ago, the thought of sharing sales through commissions was only restricted to traditional trade. These days, however, this concept rules one of the largest industries to ever thrive on the Web in affiliate programs.
There has been plenty of news regarding affiliate programs and many have hailed their benefits in recent years. But how truly effective are they? And how can a new affiliate member use available resources in order to maximize success and minimize failure? Here, we take a look at what it would take to make it in affiliate marketing.
Here's How To Earn Cash For Surveys!
Kang Rohman, Wednesday, July 1, 2009 It is a fact that in today's world computers are no longer a device restricted to the offices of the big business houses or the study rooms of the rich and elite. Computer is a device which can be found these days in almost every household. And with computer comes the miracle named internet. Due to the growing dependence of people on the internet many online businesses have cropped up in the recent times. Let us today look at one such online business, the business of online market surveys.
You must have come across such a marketing research survey earlier, while shopping in a mall or dining at a fast food place. Companies usually spend a considerable sum on these surveys as these enable them to take certain crucial trade-related decisions.
Internet has afforded these companies, which rely on public verdict, an easier way to complete these surveys. They are accessing the internet to do the required research, and this trend is something that might benefit you as well.
Many companies pay people in cash for filling out their surveys. It works out cheaper for the companies as well. They don't have to pay marketing companies to set up a telephone survey service or focus groups.
The important question is this: can one really make money filling out online surveys?
There are many people around the globe who have made good earnings from these surveys. You will find many people on the web claiming that they have earned as much as 150$ per survey. But that is quite an exaggerated figure. Typically you will earn something between 10 to 75 dollars per survey. But this really depends on the brand you are participating for and also the length of the surveys.
Do a bit of research on your own and figure out whether you would like to participate in this trend or not. For starters, you should join a survey network. Such networks enable you to take various surveys. There are a few such free networks, however, most of the surveys will not pay you cash directly but give you an entrance into a sort of lottery.
Once you have mastered the art, you could join a network that has a membership fee. These networks require you to pay around $35 just once- then you shall be able to access all the surveys that are available. On participating in these surveys as a member of the network, you shall be earning in cash.
Conduct a little research on your own and settle for a network that agrees on a refund of the membership fee. This will be needed if you are unhappy with the procedures of online surveys for some reason.
Making money through online surveys is a great way to earn money. We wish you all the best for this field.
We wish you all the best for your online endeavor. Do get in touch with us if you have any more queries.
Tips on How to Really Make Money in Sports Betting
Kang Rohman, Friday, May 29, 2009Is it really possible to make money in sports betting?- is a question that you have about sports betting. Seriously, yes you can. But it is also possible and more likely that you will lose money. Sports gamblers will surely lose some money along the way, no matter how "successful" they are. It is what it is; gambling Of course it's just risky. One might just end up sending his bookie's kid to college, if he'll continue betting on the wrong teams.
Fortunately, there are tips available for you to lessen your probability of losing and do decisions wisely. Just placing a bet can be a confusing task for newbies. Aside from dozens of jargons in the sports betting world, there are also tons of scammers out there looking for easy prey. One must avoid getting scammed.
Putting Aside Betting Money
The mistake that unsuccessful gamblers generally make is betting too much than they can afford. This may be especially true for new betters. They get caught up with the excitement of winning large amounts of cash, and they end up losing their entire pay check. It is true that some betters will have better luck than they expected, but it is also inevitable that some people will also have a worse than expected luck.
Being a responsible better not only saves you tons of money, but it can also save you from plunging into a sea of debts and broken relationships. It's also a bad idea to gamble while drinking. Sports betting, like any other gambling games, is best played sober.
Going Against the Majority
Many people will fail to understand and still bet on a team after it gets 85% of the betting population. This usually happens when the result of the game seems too apparent that people will relate easy money to betting on this game. It would be wise for you to just avoid the crowd. If the team with majority of the votes is really your bet, it would be a better idea to stay away from that game completely.
You Must Research
Odd makers does not just make blind predictions about the outcome of a game, but they also consider a lot of factors and makes decisions as a team. Tedious as it may sound, you have to do your own personal research on both teams before placing that bet. Whether they have been effectively training, whether they have played back to back games in the previous weeks, what are the average score in the previous games, and the growth in their performance through the seasons are just a few of the factors that will shape on how the game will end.
Every now and then, you must research about their own personal life and what they are currently doing. These are one of the many which influence the next game's result. Bear in mind, that a good bettor does not essentially need to know many things about sport. A lot of sports fan who thinks this way are entering the sports betting world.
The reality? The result of a game can never simply be predicted, even when you are clever enough to tell who's good at it and who's not. A good knowledge about the sport may help, but never rely on it solely in making betting decisions.

The Mortgage Meltdown and Who Is Responsible
Kang Rohman, Friday, April 10, 2009 The only time mortgage confusion was higher that it is right now is back when sub-prime mortgages were not known to be the cesspool that we now know them to be. The global economic system has been collapsed by people who were confused about mortgages and didn't know it. Whose fault was it? It was the fault of the sub-prime home buyer. It was the fault of the sub-prime mortgage broker. It was the fault of lazy financial advisors who put their client's money in asset backed paper that turned out to be worth whatever recycled paper goes for and no more. Of these, the most dangerous and most responsible party, the Federal Reserve Bank, is also the malefactor fingered the least.
The Federal Reserve increased the amount a bank could loan relative to the amount the bank holds in deposits. It is hard to argue that the increase to a 30-1 ratio was simple idiocy. Did you see Jon Stewart hammer Jim Cramer, the host of CNBC's Mad Money, on who did this? Well, the answer is, the Federal Reserve Bank did it. Congress must replace the FRB.
Mortgage brokers tried selling a subprime mortgage to any prospect that had a pulse. With interest rates at historic lows (until now, and God help us), mortgages were made to people that mortgage brokers knew could not afford the payments if interest rates were to return to their historic averages.
When the FRB raised the ratio it flooded the market with more money, which went out in loans to unqualified buyers which were then bundled as the infamous 'asset backed paper.'. An other word for a so called toxic asses is a liability. And that's what the government is buying. The government is effectively using your money to buy these liabilities named toxic assets.
Finally, the people who sit and tell CNN cameras that they didn't know that they had an adjustable rate mortgage are simply too stupid to own a home. If not, things that are bad now are going to get worse and they may not ever get better again. Does that sound pessimistic? Good, because if you are not pessimistic now, you are a fool.
How To Make Money From Passions
Kang Rohman, Sunday, April 5, 2009 How many times have you heard, "Make millions from your computer! You don't have to know nothing about anything! It's all automated!" Seriously. You believe that? If you do, then you're in for a whole lot of hurt. The truth is you do have to know something about something. It's like a dishwasher. Sure it washes dishes for you. But who loaded the darned thing and who hit the Start button?
The same preparation is needed for online marketing. If you think you can hop online and make a whirling success of it right away, you were lied to. Either that or you're delusional.
And I'll have to admit, it is a walk in the park compared to what you have to put up with in the working world, punching a clock being a subordinate to someone who does not have your interests in mind, but there are still rules you have to follow and pitfalls you must avoid to actually make Internet marketing work for you.
Many people go broke online. Yet, there are others who don't. They make more in a month than most do in a year. Ever wonder why or even how?
To ponder the "why" is a never-ending cycle of questions that can date back to the beginning of time. The "how" is a whole different matter.
But one thing I do have a clue about and know for sure is that to make money online you must first have passion for the company products and/or service of any Internet business from which you expect to make money.
Passion in this sense simply means that you've researched the company and its products or services and liked what you saw. It is then that your passion pours into the necessary education and work.
There are many old hats out there who are so good at what they do they can sell anything, and passion never enters into it. Concern comes with those of you who don't have a lot of know-how at making it online.
Now, I'm not trying to make anyone believe that passion is the only thing necessary. Because to be successful you must also have a good website, good marketing, widespread advertising, company support, effective keywords, etc. Those things are often learned from the company you join - but sidestep passion and you reduce your chances for success dramatically.
Therefore, no passion, no desire. No desire, no willingness to do the work you are being trained to do.
Online marketing isn't that difficult or too time consuming but it does require motivation fueled by passion to get you off the ground and in the air.
To learn about Internet Marketing business opportunities go to the search engines. And be your own counsel when researching.
Three things to look for when searching online are a solid company with sound principles, a stand-alone product that is in demand and sell-able, and offers training and support.
If you find yourself saying, "Well, I'll give it a try," or "It pays good, so I'll give it shot," you're dead in the water. Where's the passion? You might as well set fire to what's left in your piggy bank. And don't believe anyone who tells you to give it shot either. Remember the gurus I mentioned earlier who can sell anyone anything without a lick of passion.
To market anything online is a worthy skill for any online marketer. And it is your goal to get there.
While there are several steps to take, first do the research to find a product or service you're excited and passionate about. It will shine through all your work. Take the necessary steps before jumping into internet marketing. Otherwise, your frustrations can tip the scales for any possibility of success.
If a company's product or service has proven itself marketable and you don't have one ounce of passion or desire to get behind it, then wrap yourself in a blanket because it's going to get down right chilly. It's an expensive venture that must simply be avoided.
A Tankless Water Heater Can Save You Money
Kang Rohman, Wednesday, March 18, 2009 Saving money on home heating appliances these days is super critical given the recession. So if you want to save some serious money on your water heating bills, get a tankless water heater and save up to 75% on your energy bills a year.
We can't hang on to our old appliances because they are just no longer energy efficient and they're costing us money that we do not have. It's time to make a move into the future and get the latest in energy efficient appliances and start going green.
That old clunker water heater you have sitting in your basement reminds you of a white elephant in your living room " interesting to look at, but not that functional. Time to move the elephant out and get something that not only saves energy, but saves on space too.
It used to be only 40 and 60-gallon water heaters that people had in their homes. Then over the years when going green and being more energy efficient caught on, the older heaters were regarded as being energy hogs that cost people big money. Now consumers can opt for a tankless water heater.
You can save quite a bit of money by installing a tankless water heater. The cost savings will pay for the heater very quickly.
Wouldn't it be nice to just turn the tap on and presto, instant hot water on demand? You can have that with a tankless hot water heater as it gives you hot water right away because it doesn't have a holding tank. This system will last longer that the old water heaters too because they won't corrode.
If you have a small family or are a single person, an electric tankless water heater would be ideal. The water is heated directly over an element, producing hot water immediately. This heater would be hard wired into your electrical panel.
Gas tankless water heaters use a gas burner and youd need a gas line in your home to where the heater will be installed. It's a super replacement unit for the old clunker 40-gallon models. Either way you could save up to 75% on your energy bill, have an endless supply of hot water, save space and have your tankless water heater a lot longer than the conventional one.
Investment Property Financing for Small Investors
Kang Rohman, Thursday, March 5, 2009 Before you get started in real estate investments, you will need to have your investment property financing in place. The way that you go about financing an investment property will make a huge impact in regards to the overall cost of the property and the net capital gain you'll see as a result of your investment. Because of this, you need to choose wisely from among your investment property financing options.
Think about your plans for this investment. Do you plan to improve the property and re-sell it quickly, or is this to be a long term investment. Your goals for your investment make a difference in terms of which of your options for financing for investment properties are the best way to go. If you want to flip the property quickly, then you should look for investment property financing which will not charge you a large fee for early repayment of the loan.
Different states have different requirements with regards to financing investment properties so you need to do your due diligence with regards to your obligations. Where investment properties are concerned, it is a good idea to consider a fixed rate mortgage for the first few years to give you stability. This way you know exactly what your costs are and can plan accordingly.
When financing an investment property, always have a plan B in place in case a lender decides to back out of the deal. This way, you'll still be able to finance your investment property and proceed with the sale. With the credit situation the way it is at the moment, it is essential to have at least two options for financing for investment properties.
You'll want to be sure that you have a good credit score before you try to obtain financing for investment properties. If you have a good credit score, then you'll get the best possible interest rates for financing for investment properties. One good way to build your credit score is to incur some debt and then manage it responsibly. For example, use credit cards rather than cash - and be sure to pay the off in full immediately.
Request a copy of your credit report from the credit bureaus and look at it closely. If there is anything there which needs to be taken care of, do so as soon as possible. A high credit score means low interest rates for your investment property financing.
Before you sign anything, make sure that you know how your purchase will affect your taxes. Ask your accountant for advice on how to make the most of your property investments when it comes to taxes. It may be best to make the purchase of an investment property through a company or to make this an individual investment. Your accountant can give you his or her expert advice on how to choose the best financing for investment properties.
The key to successful investment property financing is preparation. First create an excellent credit history so you can get the best possible interest rate. Know what you want to achieve through your property purchase and how long you intend to keep the property in order so you can apply for the best loan for your purchase. Finally, seek advice regarding the tax implications of your purchase. If you take these steps, you will be in the best position to choose the most appropriate financing option.
Finding Great Debt Solutions
Kang Rohman, Sunday, March 1, 2009 If you have large credit card debts then most people will start to panic, however this isn't really necessarily because there are lots of different debt solutions which can be used to reduce and repay your credit card debts. One of these solutions may well be the solution that you are looking for to resolve all of your debt troubles.
The best way to overcome your debt problems is simply to control yourself when using your credit card, try to prevent yourself using your credit card to buy everything. This will help you to manage how much money you are spending on each card.
It is also possible that someone else has used your credit card illegally, and so you need to track when you use your card so that you can identify if any fraudulent transactions appear on your statement. If you notice anything suspicious then talk to your credit card company as soon as possible.
Debt Management Agency
If you're not able to control your spending and resolve your problem by yourself then you may want to consider hiring the services of a debt management agency. These companies will be able to look at your debts and draw up a plan which you should try to follow.
These debt management companies have a lot of experience, and are capable of designing good plans to help you to rid yourself of that unwanted debt quickly and efficiently. The credit card debt solutions that they suggest will mostly be free, which makes life much easier! Before you decide which credit card debt solution to use you should compare several different ones to make sure that you are choosing the right one for your needs. These debt management companies will be able to suggest several alternative solutions if you request them.
You may also want to consider consolidating all of your debts into one larger loan with smaller repayments to make your life easier. These loans should have a lower rate of interest to the one that you're currently paying on your credit cards. You should try to reduce the number of credit cards you have, ideally you shouldn't have any more than two cards. Ideally one should be kept separate for emergencies, and the other used for regular expenses.
You might also want to consider one of the non-profit credit card organizations who will be able to offer useful advice without charging a fortune. They will also be able to suggest many different ways to reduce your debts.
Credit card debt relief grants may also be an option depending on your circumstances. These are given to people that want to rid themselves of debt. You might be able to get these grants to pay for higher education, or buying a home.
There are so many different debt relief solutions available that you need to spend some time deciding which one to use. Once you have solved your debt problem you should be careful so that you do not get back into the same situation again.
Using A Mortgage Refinance For Debt Relief
Kang Rohman, Saturday, February 28, 2009 Many people are considering a mortgage refinance because of low interest rates. A mortgage refinance can have many advantages, especially when you're trying to improve your cash flow.
If you have high interest debt, like credit card debt for example, you should consider a mortgage refinance. The interest rates on a mortgage, even if it's a second mortgage, are always lower than credit card interest rates. The added costs of interest on credit card debt can cripple you and make it very hard to ever pay the entire debt back. With a mortgage refinance, you can end this vicious cycle.
Mortgage refinancing can also be a good idea when you need extra cash for whatever purpose. If you currently have equity in your home, a mortgage refinance can give you possibilities to trade this equity for cash. The freed up cash can be used for any purpose you want.
The rolling up of debt into a mortgage refinance can lower your monthly costs and give you more financial breathing room. Keep in mind that you will incur some added costs with a mortgage refinance, so plan ahead before the closing.
If you have a trusted financial advisor, you can ask him or her to show you the exact picture of a mortgage refinance so you can judge if it's worth the trouble or not. Also, if you're currently a senior, you may consider looking at mortgage refinance options. In this case, a reverse mortgage may also be right for you and give you the money needed to retire with financial certainty.
Options for Mortgage Refinance in 2009
Kang Rohman, Sunday, February 22, 2009 When looking at Mortgage Refinance there are quite a few details to which you will want to pay attention. It is very important to realize there are variations from one state to the next when it comes to interest rates, Loan to Value, supply vs. demand and these items will fluctuate without warning.
Mortgage Refinance probably makes very little sense if you plan on moving or foresee paying off your loan within the next few years. Monthly bills won't be around long enough to see the savings that would cover the costs. Refinancing makes sense if you are paying high interest rates, but as we have seen recently, that is usually not the case these days.
Deutsche Bank analyst Nishu Sood wrote in a report to clients on Tuesday, "There are too many factors working against lower rates, including the smaller stimulus this time in terms of payment reduction, falling home prices and tighter mortgage standards." We are aware of the changing conditions in the U.S. Finance Market. This means uncertainty for people considering a Mortgage Refinance.
If the mess of 2008 wasn't bad enough, the most current news on the Mortgage Finance Industry gets a little scarier with its predictions for 2009. On January 13, 2009 as Wall Street Analysts suggested a worsening of the market for 2009 with deeper losses, as last year's tribulations work their way through the U.S. economy. This phenomenon will most definitely cause Lenders to become more stringent, making Mortgage Finance availability and affordability not as attainable for customers as previously experienced. Where does this leave customers looking for Mortgage Refinance?
"There are too many factors working against lower rates, including the smaller stimulus this time in terms of payment reduction, falling home prices and tighter mortgage standards." Deutsche Bank analyst Nishu Sood wrote in a report to clients on Tuesday. The outlook for the other leg of the real estate market: commercial properties, not looking any better. We will also see to what degree the growing unemployment rate will affect both original loans and Mortgage Refinance in 2009.
We will also see to what degree the growing unemployment rate will affect both original loans and Mortgage Refinance in 2009. The outlook for the other leg of the real estate market: commercial properties, not looking any better as the $3.4 Trillion commercial market began to show its struggle in the fourth quarter of 2008.
Discussion about investing money you would spend on a Mortgage Refinance rather than actually Refinancing is becoming a popular topic as stocks have gone down. There is an alternative being suggested; comparing the cost of refinancing that would go into the life of a 30 year loan compared to putting the same amount into a 30 year investment. An investment that shows a 9% growth rate on $2,000 could grow to an approximate $26,500 in 30 years. This is simply another option in which to take a look.
And as if I need to remind anyone, today's finance rates are subject to change at any time and as mentioned previously, without warning. Take a look at both options then make a decision based upon the reason for looking at a Mortgage Refinance in the first place.

The Flexibility of Private Money Lenders
Kang Rohman, Saturday, January 31, 2009 In fact, a lot of people can potentially become very successful investors in real estate, but very few people actually try. Most do not try to get rich this way because they think they can't; they don't have the money to invest in properties and they believe they cannot get financing by going to a bank for a loan. However, there is a better and easier way for you to finance your properties if you want to become a real estate investor. You do this through what are called private money lenders.
Private Money Lenders Explained
A private money lender is an individual who has extra money to lend and who wants to make a pretty decent profit off of that money. This is the most flexible way to finance properties for real estate investors. As a real estate investor, you get to borrow money from a single individual, who isn't affiliated with any institution. Instead, they're just like you and me; therefore, the process can be much less impersonal and formal. While banks and lending institutions have rules and regulations that have to be followed when lending out money, private money lenders do not have the same restrictions.
Finance Your Properties Through a Private Money Lender: a Better Way
As previously mentioned, unlike banks and other traditional lending institutions, private money lenders are not bound by strict rules and regulations imposed by a board of directors or harsh credit standards imposed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Instead, private money lenders have the option to choose who they want to invest in, regardless of an investors financial statements or credit ratings.
What are the Benefits of Using a Private Money Lender?
As an investor, you can appeal and make your case to a private money lender, explain to them why they should invest in your property, and allow them to come to their own conclusion. But the benefits of a private money loan do not end there. If the lender is interested in your offer, the two of you can then work out a financing and repayment arrangement that benefits both parties. You and the lender can both state your expectations and agree on an interest rate and payment schedule that makes both of you happy.
A private money loan is a short-term loan and therefore, the private money lender may be willing to wait until after you have refurbished and sold the house to receive any payments. This lets you focus on fixing and selling the property instead of having to worry about paying for a property that hasn't actually made you any money yet.
The Downside of Traditional Hard Money Loans
While private money loans benefit both borrower and lender, bank loans usually give the benefit to the bank. They get to set the standards on their side, and if you are lucky enough to get a loan through them, they also get to set the interest rate and determine what other fees might be. In general, you're not going to be allowed to make payment arrangements or other special arrangements, but will have to stick to the schedule the bank sets. This means that even if your credit history is perfect, and even if you can receive financing from a traditional lender, using a private money lender may still offer you more advantages.
Private Money Loan Benefits Recap
Private Lender can lend freely and does not have to abide by tough rules and restrictions. Allows real estate investors with problematic personal credit histories to secure financing for their properties.
Opens the lines of communication between lender and borrower. Borrower can negotiate an interest rate or flat fee that is almost guaranteed to save money over a traditional loan.
Both the borrower and private money lender can negotiate payment arrangements that will benefit both of them. The lender may even be willing to forgo payments until the borrower has sold the property.
No financial application is required. Borrower can appeal directly to the private money lender and convince him to take a chance on the property in question.
The private money lender has the opportunity to see the borrower as an individual with goals instead of simply seeing the paper application that does or does not pass rigid, predetermined guidelines.
All of these benefits make private money loans the most flexible funding option for real estate investors. A private money loan allows you a variety of options and opens the door for many real estate investors who would otherwise be turned down by a traditional lender.

Lately there has been a rise on interest rates, even on good credit cards. The rates have jumped to around 30% and this is without cause. This Means that interest rates are rising even on customers that pay on time.
In sum we suggest you look at all your options. It could be more cost effective to apply for a secured or prepaid card. Additionally you might want to focus on repairing your damaged credit report and then apply for a card.
Learn Salary Negotiation or Pay the Long Term Costs
Kang Rohman, Thursday, January 29, 2009 Salary negotiation early in one's career can have a huge impact on the lifestyle they have in the long run. The biggest impact is determined by the salary they negotiate before their first day of work in their job.
This should be considered whether it is a first job out of school or a mid-career job change. Beyond that, there are impacts even when you are working for an employer that you are very happy with. Not engaging in salary negotiation at the right time can have real financial impact.
During your career, you may earn pay raises and job advances within the company that you work for, but when the company offers regularly scheduled increases, as many companies do, the impact of your starting salary with that
This is not only applicable to your first salary negotiation and subsequent incremental pay raises but also to salary differentials you may get when you changes roles within a company. You may switch into a job requiring significantly increased duties, effort, or responsibilities, and the salary you had earned beforehand can genuinely influence the starting salary at the new job.
Take for example a person starting a new job as a business analyst in a software company somewhere in the US. Say for example that person begins with a starting salary of $45,000. Most likely that person will have to put in 6 months to a full year before they are offered their first pay increase. Suppose it is a 10% pay raise which would be SIGNIFICANT in many companies. The employee would gain an additional $4500 per year because of that increase.
Suppose that same person started at $55,000 or more. That same pay hike of 10% would provide the same employee $5500 additional salary per year. With the first salary band, the employee would still be under the $50,000 mark after one full year of effort and after a 10% pay increase, while in the second situation the employee would be at over $60,000 a year after a 10% pay increment.
Now analyze the compound repercussion of these two starting salaries on the individuals earning potential. First let's examine a 4 year timeline, all other things being equal (that is, suggesting no pay increases and no job advances). The person earning $45K will have earned $180K in total salary in 4 years. The person earning $55K will have earned $220K in 4 years. That is a $40K difference just based on where the employee started in terms of negotiated compensation.
Now imagine a 10% raise after the first year and consider the impact as the person advances through their career. The person with a higher salary in the beginning will always be ahead of the person with the lower starting salary, all things being equal (e.g. same title, same job performance). The person with the better salary negotiating will be moving ahead faster than the person starting with the lower salary. This impact amplifies with each subsequent year considering the same percent annual pay raise for each.
When requesting a pay increase, if a person earning $50,000 earns a 5% raise without negotiating anything additional, that's okay. But consider the impact if the person negotiates a 15% increase because they have really performed well in the job and they have all the supporting research and a track record to command it. That employee will have negotiated $7,500 in a raise versus just accepting $2500. Multiply that by 10 years, and there is a clear $50,000 difference in the person's salary potential.
Experts feel it goes without saying that it is better to try negotiating a raise or an improvement to one's total compensation package than to simply accept what is offered. The first offer is often the lowest offer and can be negotiated higher. This salary negotiation must be done with tact and must be well founded with a supporting case for the pay increase.
One must also analyze factors such as market, corporate guidelines, and personal performance. However when done well, it can really pay off. Remember to consider the value of all factors of compensation when asking for a raise. Some people truly value free time, their quality of life, while others are willing to take a chance and maybe accept stock options in lieu of pay.
However, when it comes to negotiating, don't be afraid to consider asking for more.

Ways to Get a Loan if You Have Bad Credit
Kang Rohman, Monday, January 12, 2009Despite this, it is possible for people with bad credit to get a loan. Although they probably can't get it on their own, there are many options available for those with bad credit. Now, it is not easy to get a loan if you have bad credit. And the terms of the loan will not be attractive. But it is certainly possible.
The easiest option to secure a loan if you have bad credit is to find a co-signer. This person should have a good credit history. By getting a co-signer for your loan, the loan company will be more willing to loan you money because someone who has a history of paying back their debts will be responsible for it. If you don't make the payments, they will be responsible for it, so signing someone's loan as a co-signer can be risky. Keep that in mind while you're trying to find someone who will agree to do it.
If you can't find someone to co-sign a loan, you may want to try securing a loan yourself. Some lending companies will consider loans to people with bad credit. However, the interest rate will be higher than that offered to applicants with good credit history. For example, if the normal interest rate for the loan is 4 percent, you may have to pay up to 12 percent interest for the same loan. This will directly translate into higher payments for the loan. Having bad credit can be very costly if you need to get a loan.
If you have bad credit, another option is a secured loan. Basically, the property you are buying with the loan money is used as collateral for the loan. If you are unable to make your payments, that property will be repossessed. Typically, this type of loan is offered for the purchase of a vehicle. If you fall behind on the loan payments, you will lose your car.
If you are able to find a loan, the good news is that it is one step towards rebuilding a good credit history, provided that you pay on time every month. This can put you on the road towards a favorable credit history, so that you won't have as much trouble finding a low apr credit card and/or loan next time.
Gaining Your Financial Freedom
Kang Rohman,Visualization-When you visualize, you see yourself getting checks in the mail, or a balance to a credit card statement marked "paid in full". It might also include images of your dream car and the garage you park it in, which leads into your amazing new home.
It is a constant reminder of your intentions.
Budgeting-A financial advisor can help you to keep your spending in line and gain financial freedom. It can help you to save some money and pay down some of your debt.
Accountability-It is important to find one or more persons to be accountable. This can be anyone that you trust that you know is reliable when it comes to dealing with money. Choose either a professional or peer who always seems to have money. This could be you some day.
Affirmation-Make sure you always tell your self great things. It will help you make it through those periods of discouragement, especially if you have made a financial mistake. Gratitude-Be grateful for the things you already have. This helps you to maintain a more positive attitude rather than focusing on the things you are not grateful for.
Now take those first steps and start realizing your dreams. Life is short but suffering through it may make it seem like an eternity.
